Working Life: the argument

Working life is shaped by small accumulations: the interruptions, handoffs, unclear responsibilities, repeated explanations, hidden knowledge, and unnecessary waiting that make work heavier than it needs to be.

AI can improve working life by reducing that drag. It can make systems easier to use, information easier to find, and decisions easier to prepare.

The test is not whether people are busier, or whether more work passes through the system. The test is whether the organization has made room for clearer thinking, better collaboration, and work that feels less needlessly difficult.

Working life improves when technology removes friction without removing judgment.
