Vendors and Partners: the argument

Vendors, partners, and collaborators are often affected by technology choices they did not help make. A new intake process, scoring model, procurement rule, or automated review can quietly redefine what partnership means.

Better systems can create clarity. They can reduce bias, speed up coordination, make expectations more consistent, and remove needless back-and-forth.

But consistency is not the same as fairness. Stronger partnerships still need context, recourse, and the possibility of being understood when the edge case is the actual case.

A fair partnership needs more than consistent outputs.
